Effective 14 September 2026. These rules cover public Registry content, fixed reactions, Trading Outpost activity and reports.
Keep people safe
Do not threaten, praise or encourage violence, suicide, self-harm, terrorism or criminal exploitation. Do not sexualise or endanger children. If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact emergency services; a website report is not an emergency service.
No hate, harassment or humiliation campaigns
Do not attack people because of a protected characteristic, repeatedly target an individual, coordinate harassment, celebrate real-world suffering or use the Registry to intimidate someone. Satire about an idea is not permission to abuse a person.
Protect privacy and identity
Do not publish private addresses, phone numbers, financial details, passwords, intimate material or other identifying information without a lawful reason and permission. Do not impersonate another person, business or public authority, or falsely suggest endorsement.
No scams, spam or manipulation
Do not use misleading links, fake offers, malware, repetitive advertising, automated accounts, vote/reaction manipulation, self-referral schemes or attempts to manufacture XP, streaks, achievements or rankings. Do not buy, sell or transfer accounts or status markers.
Rights and lawful content
Only upload or publish material you have the right to use. Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, fraudulent or deliberately misleading content. Public links must accurately represent their destination and must not evade moderation controls.
How moderation works
Public claims, images, captions, adverts, links and other eligible Registry activity may be reviewed before or after publication. We may hide content or activity, disable links, restrict features, correct abusive status entries, suspend an account or preserve evidence where reasonably necessary. Serious or unlawful-content concerns may be escalated to providers or authorities where lawful and appropriate. For immediate danger, contact emergency services rather than waiting for website moderation.
Reports, complaints and updates
Use the available report control for eligible public Registry content and select the closest category. Optional report detail is private to authorised reviewers, and the reported account is not told the reporter’s identity. Reports are reviewed using the available context and repeat behaviour.
Possible outcomes include no action, removing or hiding content, a warning, a feature restriction, account action, evidence preservation, or lawful escalation to a provider or authority. If you want an outcome update, email Support from your account address and identify the reported item. You may ask us to stop non-essential complaint updates at any time; necessary legal or account-security messages may still be sent.
To investigate fairly or handle an appeal, we may tell the reported person what rule, allegation or evidence is relevant. We do not disclose the reporter’s identity or private report detail unless disclosure is legally required. Automated checks may have caused or contributed to a decision, and you may ask for human review.
Mistakes and appeals
If your content or account is restricted and you believe the decision is wrong, contact Support from the account email, identify the item or decision and explain why it should be reviewed. A person will review a properly identified moderation complaint. If the appeal succeeds, we will reverse the restriction where technically possible, correct the account or content state, tell the affected user, and use the result to improve moderator guidance or automated rules where appropriate. Repeated reports do not guarantee removal, and knowingly abusive reports may themselves result in restrictions. Treating a complaint as manifestly unfounded requires a recorded human decision; disagreement, persistence or criticism alone is not enough.
